President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has given directives to form an integrated system for the management and maintenance of different districts and facilities at the New Administrative Capital, particularly the central area, the governmental district and public utilities, installations and facilities.

The president gave the instructions Sunday at a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Electricity and Renewable Energy Minister Mohamed Shaker, Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled El-Anani, Information and Communications Technology Minister Amr Talaat and Housing and New Communities Minister Assem El-Gazzar, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.

The meeting reviewed the work progress of infrastructure projects being implemented to provide the new capital with electricity and IT services, said the spokesman.

He added the meeting also tackled the implementation status of the Grand Egyptian Museum project, with President El-Sisi giving directives to finalise it in line with the latest techniques and trends to reflect the magnitude of the ancient Egyptian civilization.

They also discussed the influx of foreign tourists into Egypt, preparations for the winter tourism season, which will start next month, and restoration works at a number of archaeological sites across the nation, such as the Luxor Temple, the Road of Rams and other historical places and landmarks, such as the Palace of Mohamed Ali in Shubra, Cairo, concluded the spokesman.
