The roads and axes El-Sisi inspected connects the East Cairo area with New Cairo then to the New Administrative Capital and other new cities.
The two areas are linked through the Martyr axis, the Gehan El-Sadat axis, and Shinzo Abe axis.
El-Sisi visited Samir Ghanem bridge that links Shinzo Abe axis with New Cairo, passing through Naguib Mahfouz axis.
The president spoke with workers to check the workflow at the Samir Ghanem bridge, Rady said.
The bridge was named after late Egyptian actor Samir Ghanem, who died of coronavirus earlier this year.
El-Sisi also inspected a number of axes being currently developed in New Cairo, including the axes of Mostafa Kamel, Youssef El-Sebaie, Taha Hussein and El-Sadat, Rady said.
The president inspected the work to develop the sewage system in New Cairo that is being conducted in parallel with the construction of the new roads and axes.
The development work aims to transport sewage to the treatment plant in Al-Gabal Al-Asfar in Greater Cairo.
