The Suez Canal Economic Zone announced the reopening and resumption of maritime traffic at its Sokhna and Adabiya ports, according to an official statement.
The ports of Port Said East, Port Said West, and Al-Arish also resumed operations.
On the Mediterranean, the Alexandria Port Authority resumed operations on Tuesday at the Dekheila and Alexandria ports, one day after the city was hit by a spell of poor weather, including a rare snowstorm.
On late Monday, the Red Sea Ports Authority reopened the ports of Suez and Sharm El-Sheikh after weather improved.
Several governorates, including Cairo and Alexandria, suspended classes on Sunday and Monday due to the turbulent weather forecasts, which included rain and dusty winds.
