The ports of Port Said East, Port Said West, and Al-Arish also resumed operations.

On the Mediterranean, the Alexandria Port Authority resumed operations on Tuesday at the Dekheila and Alexandria ports, one day after the city was hit by a spell of poor weather, including a rare snowstorm.

On late Monday, the Red Sea Ports Authority reopened the ports of Suez and Sharm El-Sheikh after weather improved.

Several governorates, including Cairo and Alexandria, suspended classes on Sunday and Monday due to the turbulent weather forecasts, which included rain and dusty winds.
