The accident took place on Wednesday morning, with two vehicles colliding as they were heading towards Al-Jahra City on the Jassem Mohammed Al-Kharafi Road, instantly killing four, with the fifth victim being declared dead after being rushed — along with the rest of the injured — by emergency services to the hospital.

The number of Egyptian expats in Kuwait — according to Egypt’s Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics’ estimates — was about 609,000 by the end of 2020.
