EgyptAir cancels Thursday flights to Berlin due to strike
Egyptian state-owned flag carrier Egyptair announced Wednesday that it will cancel flights No. MS731 and MS732 on the Cairo-Berlin route, scheduled on Thursday, 14 March, due to a strike staged by the German workers in Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
Egyptair called upon all passengers who should be on board these flights to review their bookings via calling hotline 1717, visiting the official website, or going to the nearest offices.
On Thursday, security personnel at several airports -- including Berlin -- are set to walk out, forcing airlines to cancel dozens of departing flights.
Hundreds of travellers and commuters were stranded this week by strikes across Germany.
