Transporting fans from public squares on Tuesday, the ministry said, aims to facilitate their movement and support their transportation to the stadium.

The buses will depart at 5:00 PM from various locations, including Downtown's Abdel Moneim Riyad, El-Abbasiya, Hadayek Al-Qubah (next to Egypt Petroleum Club), Nasr City (near the Railway Club, Adly Mansour Metro Station), Shubra Al-Khaimah, Maadi (opposite the Olympic Center), Giza, Hadayek Al-Ahram (opposite Hadayek Al-Ahram Club), Zahret El-Asemaa Metro Station (at the new Capital), 10th of Ramadan City (El-Ordniyah Square), and Zagazig city (opposite the El-Sharqiyah Club).

Additionally, the Ministry of Transport has decided to extend Tuesday's operating hours of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) until the following day, allowing it to run until 2:30am on Wednesday rather than the usual 12am cutoff.

This initiative is part of the cooperation between the ministries of Transport and Youth and Sports to promote Egyptian sports and host major international sporting events.

Egypt is hosting a four-team friendly tournament which marked the inauguration of a new 92,000-capacity stadium in the new administrative capital, 45 km east of Cairo.

The newly named Egypt Stadium is now the second-largest stadium in Africa, surpassed only by South Africa's 94,000-seater Soccer City.

The extended transportation services aim to encourage more fans to make the journey to the stadium, especially after the lower-than-expected turnout in the tournament opener between Egypt and New Zealand on Friday.
