Galala accident bus driver tested positive for drugs: Prosecution
The investigation into the bus crash on El-Galala Road on Monday, which resulted in the tragic deaths of twelve students and injuries to twenty-nine others, revealed that the bus driver tested positive for morphine, the Public Prosecution announced Wednesday.

Following orders from the Public Prosecution, the driver underwent a final drug test by the Forensic Medicine Authority.
The test confirmed the presence of morphine in his system at the time of the accident.
Investigations are still ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Public Prosecution announced Tuesday that it ordered the detention of the bus driver involved in the Galala accident for four days, pending investigation.
