In a statement, EgyptAir confirmed that it had received the official final report from the Central Administration for Aviation Accidents under Egypt's Ministry of Civil Aviation concerning flight MS804, which had 66 passengers on board.

Further, it noted that the report has been shared with the families affected by the tragic incident.

“Our hearts remain with the families and loved ones who continue to bear the deep sorrow of this loss,” the statement read.

On 19 May 2016, EgyptAir announced the disappearance of flight MS804, en route from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to Cairo International Airport in Cairo, after it entered Egyptian airspace by approximately 10 miles.

The airline also reported that Greek authorities found floating debris, presumed to be parts of the aircraft, along with life vests and plastic items, near the island of Karpathos.
