“Due to the ongoing events in the region and to ensure the safety of its customers, EgyptAir cancels its flights to Beirut, Amman, Baghdad, and Erbil airports,” the national flag carrier said in a statement on Sunday.
It added that flights to these destinations will remain suspended "until the situation in the region stabilizes."
Passengers affected by the cancellations are advised to contact EgyptAir for rebooking or refund options.
Numerous international airlines have already suspended flights to various destinations, including Iran and Israel, since the start of the recent Israeli operations.
This also includes parts of Iraq, near its border with Iran, and Jordan, which lies between Israel and Iraq.
The move follows Israel's Operation Rising Lion, a series of strikes it launched across Iran on Friday, which Tel Aviv said targeted nuclear and military infrastructure, as well as residential areas.
Reports indicate that the Israeli attacks, which have continued for the third consecutive day and expanded deep inside Tehran, killed several senior military figures, nuclear scientists, and dozens of civilians, including children.
In retaliation, Iran launched waves of ballistic missiles at Israel from Friday night into Sunday, as part of its Operation True Promise 3.
These attacks reportedly killed three people and injured dozens of others, further intensifying regional instability.
