EgyptAir launches air bridge for Hajj season

EgyptAir has launched its air bridge to Jeddah for transporting pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2026 Hajj season, operating 23 flights to carry 4,933 pilgrims to the holy lands.

The Egyptian national carrier began operating its first Hajj flights to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah as part of this year’s pilgrimage season operations.

It will operate 10 flights on Thursday, including five flights from Cairo to Jeddah, four flights from Cairo to Medina, and a flight from Cairo to Conakry.

The flights will transport lottery pilgrims from Fayoum, Monufia, and Assiut governorates, in addition to holders of work and residency visas and pilgrims from Guinea.

On Friday, EgyptAir will operate 13 additional flights, including four flights from Cairo to Jeddah, a flight from Luxor to Jeddah, seven flights from Cairo to Medina, and one flight from Cairo to Conakry.

These flights are designated to transport lottery pilgrims from Menoufiya, Sharqiya, and Qena, as well as solidarity pilgrimage groups from Giza, Suez, Gharbiya, and Damietta, in addition to a delegation from the Ministry of Interior, holders of work and residency visas, and pilgrims from Guinea.
