Egypt reports 909 new coronavirus cases, 56 deaths on Wednesday

Egypt reported 909 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, bringing the total infection tally officially to 365,831 since the outbreak began in February 2020.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health in its daily coronavirus update statement reported 56 new deaths in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 20,877.

The statement added that 788 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 304,156.
