Egypt reports 948 new coronavirus infections, 28 fatalities on Wednesday
Egypt reported 948 new coronavirus infections on Wednesday, bringing the total infection toll up to 395,688 since the outbreak began in February 2020, the health ministry said.
The ministry also reported 28 new deaths in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total fatalities nationwide to 22,042.
The statement added that 845 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 329,802.
