This decision was made in response to a directive from President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, according to Health Minister Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar.
The campaign, which began on 25 June, has provided more than 36.8 million free medical services to Egyptians and foreign residents over the past three months, as reported by Abdel-Ghaffar.
These services are delivered through medical convoys, family planning clinics, routine vaccinations, and awareness campaigns, according to the ministry spokesperson.
The services include early detection and treatment of chronic illnesses, treatment of liver cancer, nutrition interventions for school children, and treatment of children suffering from muscle atrophy.
The campaign also provides cancer screenings for tumours in the prostate, colon, lung, and cervix. Additionally, it provides care for mothers and fetuses, as well as treatment for hearing loss or impairment and genetic disorders in newborns.
