Sisi, France's Dassault Aviation discuss cooperation in military industries field

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi received on Tuesday a delegation from the French aircraft manufacturer, Dassault Aviation, in Cairo, where they discussed means of cooperation in the field of military manufacturing.

The French delegation was headed by the company’s chairman and CEO, Éric Trappier.

The meeting witnessed a review of frameworks of cooperation between both sides, including military manufacturing, technical support, and capacity building, the Egyptian presidential spokesman said in a statement.

El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt welcomes further cooperation with the French giant in the military industries, hailing its “extensive” expertise in the military industries and its “state-of-the-art” technological systems.

Dassault Aviation is renowned for its expertise in manufacturing both military aircraft and business jets. It created more than 100 prototypes in the last century and delivered over 10,000 aircraft to 90 countries.
