The meeting was attended by Egypt's Minister of Defence and Military Production Mohamed Zaki, who had held a separate meeting with Duale earlier on Wednesday at the Ministry of Defence.

Egypt's minister stressed his appreciation for the military cooperation between the Egyptian and Kenyan armed forces, while Duale expressed Kenya's aspiration for more coordination between the two countries.‎
