The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, along with branch commanders and senior military leaders.

In his remarks, Northern Military Zone Commander Major General Yasser Abdel-Moez El-Khatib affirmed that the unit’s personnel “renew their pledge to continue giving and doubling their efforts to reach the highest levels of combat readiness,” carrying out their missions with “unwavering faith” and placing the nation’s interests above all else, regardless of sacrifice.

General Saqr conveyed the greetings of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the zone’s fighters.

He addressed regional and international challenges in light of ongoing shifts in the Middle East, stressing that “defending the homeland and safeguarding its national security is a sacred duty” requiring constant combat readiness and a force capable of confronting threats under all circumstances.

Saqr also emphasized that strengthening combat and technical capacities across all units and specialties remains a top priority for the General Command at this stage.

He urged fighters to maintain high morale, rigorous training, and awareness of the demands of the current period.

The minister later joined the personnel for lunch, praising their role in protecting Egypt's security and safeguarding its resources.
