The ceremony was attended by several Armed Forces commanders, high-level delegations from the participating countries, and families of the victims, at the Commonwealth Graves Memorial in El-Alamein City in northwest Egypt.

Participants laid wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and observed a minute of silence in memory of the war victims.

The visiting delegations also toured the El-Alamein Military Museum, which serves as a vivid embodiment of the Battle of El-Alamein and a lasting commemoration of World War II.

The city of El-Alamein has become a prominent tourist destination and a world-class city with state-of-the-art facilities, hosting major international events and activities.

This transformation came after the Armed Forces cleared the city of war remnants over the past years, making it one of the most beautiful tourist cities in the world.
