The pavilion features 23 US defence technology and equipment companies taking part in the exhibition. Garg and Leahy toured the pavilion, where firms showcased a range of advanced defence systems.
According to the embassy, the display reflects the strength of the US–Egypt partnership and American companies’ continued engagement in Egypt’s defence and security sectors. It also highlights ongoing cooperation in defence, security, and technology

“We are here to support and expand the US-Egypt strategic partnership, which underpins security throughout the region and creates economic opportunities for people in both our countries,” Garg said during the opening ceremony.
This year’s delegation includes a broad range of industry leaders, underscoring the US’s longstanding commitment to regional stability and the depth of its strategic defence partnership with Egypt, the embassy said.
The 23 participating companies provide Egypt with technology and expertise that the embassy described as central to the US’s role as a global leader in defence innovation.

Egypt and the United States maintain close military cooperation based on shared strategic interests and regional security. Collaboration in training, modernization and professional military development remains a key part of that relationship.
EDEX 2025 offers both countries an opportunity to reaffirm their shared vision for regional security, with the strong US presence underscoring the importance of continued cooperation in addressing evolving defence challenges.
