Egypt chief of staff concludes official visit to Kuwait

Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa concluded his official visit to Kuwait on Tuesday.

Khalifa received an official welcome that included the reviewing of the guard of honour and the playing of the national anthems of both countries.

During the visit, Khalifa met with the Kuwaiti Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah, with whom he discussed several topics of mutual interest in light of the military cooperation between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti armed forces.

He also met with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Khaled Daraj Saad Al-Shariaan, where they discussed ways to strengthen military relations and exchange expertise between the armed forces of both countries. The two sides looked forward to expanding joint military cooperation across various fields in the coming period.

Additionally, Khalifa conducted an inspection tour of the Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College, where he was briefed on the mechanisms for preparing and developing the capabilities of commanders and officers in leadership and military planning, in line with rapid developments in military sciences.
