The courses were conducted by a unit affiliated with the Military Police Department as part of Egypt’s efforts to strengthen military cooperation and exchange expertise with friendly and partner countries.
Participants underwent intensive physical-fitness and self-defence training, alongside theoretical lectures and practical instruction in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and life-saving procedures.
The programme also covered modern methods and tactics for responding to emergencies and hostile incidents during protection operations. Participants conducted live-fire and non-live-fire exercises and other professional drills designed to sharpen their skills and raise their operational efficiency.
Several trainees were honoured at the closing ceremony for their performance during the programme. The Malian participants expressed appreciation for the care and support provided by the Egyptian Armed Forces, saying the courses would help them carry out their duties efficiently and professionally.
The programme forms part of Egypt’s broader military training cooperation with African and partner countries.
