The ship, which last visited Egypt’s Suez Canal and Port Said in November and December 2010, is arriving from Beirut and is operated by the non-profit German charitable organisation GBA Ships.
The ship will open its doors for visitors every day except Sunday, the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) said in a statement on Saturday.
The ship will receive visitors from 10am to 10pm throughout the week, except on Friday, when it will open starting 3pm.
Visitors aged 13 and up can visit the ship and enjoy its activities for a nominal fee. People with disabilities and children who are younger than 13 can visit free of charge, the statement said.
The SCZone has intensified the security presence at the port in preparation for receiving the ship, the statement said.
MV Logos Hope will depart for the Port of Aqaba in Jordan after concluding its Port Said visit.
The 132-metre-long ship is the largest floating bookfair in the world with more than 400 volunteers of 60 nationalities.
The bookfair offers over 5,000 titles and aims to provide thousands of daily visitors worldwide with the opportunity to purchase quality literature.
Over the past 13 years, the ship has visited more than 150 countries and has received over 49 million visitors, said the SCZone.
