Dani Clos, a former Spanish racecar driver, and his family have been invited by the Egyptian Tourism Authority to visit Egypt's top tourist and archaeological sites as part of their efforts to promote the country's destinations.
Clos and his family have visited the Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut temple and Memnon colossi in Luxor, the Edfu temple, the Kom Ombo temple, and the unfinished obelisk in Aswan.
He travelled to Cairo where he visited the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, the Baron Empain Palace, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, and the Royal Carriages Museum.
In 2006, Clos became Renault 2.0 Italian Champion as he won 12 races in a row between the European and Italian championship. In 2008, he was a test driver for the Williams F1 team — the second youngest driver to make his Formula 1 debut (2012: 3rd driver in HRT F1 team).
In addition to successful engagements in Formula 1, race winner in the GP2 championship (2012: 4th in the championship) and the international GT and Endurance series, Clos has also discovered his talent as a coach for racing drivers and as a TV and radio commentator.
Since 2019, Clos has become the biggest Spanish car influencer, with nearly 1 million followers on his Youtube channel and over 380,000 followers on Instagram, and he is clearly one of the social stars of the scene.
