Individuals who have booked Hajj of the 1445 Hijri year through tourism companies or government entities can visit EgyptAir's office in Shubra.

Pilgrims through the Hajj Lottery organized by the Ministry of Interior can book their tickets through the company's office in the former headquarters of the Police Academy in Abbasiya.

For NGO-sponsored Hajj bookings will be processed at the Ministry of Social Solidarity's headquarters in Agouza.

Every year, Hajj pilgrims commence the rituals on the 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic Hijri calendar, which is expected to occur on 14 June this year.

Furthermore, a tourism official told the newspaper that EgyptAir tickets for tourism Hajj pilgrims, who amount to around 23,000 pilgrims this year, are expected to range from EGP 35,000 to EGP 65,000.

The cost of this year's tourism Hajj packages for Egyptians ranges from EGP 190,000 for economic class itineraries to EGP 450,000 for hotels close to the Great Mosque (Al-Haram).

The lottery Hajj costs EGP 149,000.

 NGO-sponsored Hajj costs between EGP 186,000 to EGP 270,000.

During the previous Hajj season in 2023, EgyptAir transported about 56,000 Egyptian Hajj pilgrims back to their homeland, as reported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Over 1.8 million pilgrims from around the world performed Hajj last year, according to Saudi authorities.
