The fire, which occurred on a mezzanine-level terrace, was contained within seven minutes by the hotel’s on-site fire team. No injuries or damage to the building were reported.
Hotel operations resumed as usual, and the Ministry said guest safety was not affected.
Officials from the Central Administration for Hotel Establishments and Tourism Activities followed up with the hotel to verify the details. Security services, including the Tourism and Antiquities Police and local police units, inspected the scene and launched a routine investigation.
The Ministry said it would continue monitoring compliance with fire safety regulations.
