President Mohamed Morsi arrived at the Police Academy headquarters Saturday morning to attend the graduation of a fresh class of officers.

Morsi was seated in a panel next to Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim.

Head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi and caretaker government Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri also attended the ceremony.

The Police Academy headquarters was also the location of the trial of ousted president Hosni Mubarak, which concluded early June when he received a life sentence for failing to prevent the killing of peaceful protesters during the 25 January uprising against his rule.
