The other participating candidates comprised Hazem Omar, head of the Republican People's Party; Farid Zahran, head of the Egyptian Democratic Social Party; and Abdel-Sanad Yamama, head of the Wafd Party.
According to the statement, El-Sisi welcomed the candidates and expressed his appreciation for their political performance during the electoral process, enriching the diversity and pluralism in the Egyptian political and democratic landscape.
President El-Sisi also noted that Egypt's true success is reflected in the high and unprecedented levels of citizen participation in the elections, demonstrating the great awareness of the Egyptian people regarding their national responsibility.
The elections saw a turnout of 66.8 percent, with 44.7 million citizens voting in the elections at home and abroad, out of 67.3 million eligible voters, the National Elections Authority (NEA) Head Hazem Badawy said in a press conference on Monday.
From their side, the candidates congratulated El-Sisi for winning the presidential elections, while commending the success of the electoral process and high voter turnout.
Moreover, they conveyed their sincere wishes for the president's success and fulfillment in serving Egypt’s national interests, which remains the ultimate goal for all political factions, especially in this critical time marked by significant challenges in the region.
On Monday, the NEA announced the victory of the incumbent President El-Sisi in the 2024 presidential elections.
El-Sisi secured 39.7 million votes, accounting for 89.6 percent of the valid votes.
Many world leaders, foreign embassies, local parties, and syndicates congratulated El-Sisi for winning his third presidential term.
