According to the Egyptian Presidency, El-Sisi shared his vision concerning the situation in Gaza about the crucial necessity to end military operations in the Gaza Strip, to protect civilians, and to allow unfettered access to humanitarian aid for Gazans.

 El-Sisi and Macron were also aligned on the need for the international community to settle the Palestinian issue in a just and comprehensive manner, through the implementation of the two-state solution.

During the call, President Macron extended warm congratulations to his Egyptian counterpart, President El-Sisi on his re-election for a new term.

Macron expressed France's commitment to strengthen cooperation with Egypt, a sentiment that was appreciated by El-Sisi.
