Egypt has seen two constitutional referendums since the 25 January revolution that ousted dictator Hosni Mubarak.

On 19 March 2011 an interim constitutional declaration was put to a public referendum by the then-ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF).

The second referendum in December 2012 was on Egypt's first post-revolution national charter, drafted by an Islamist-dominated constituent assembly under the rule of now-deposed president Mohamed Morsi and dissolved after his ouster on 3 July.

This info graph, created by Welad El Balad News*, shows voter participation and results in the two past constitutional referendums across Egypt's 26 governorates according to official sources
