According to an official statement by the EMA on Thursday, Greater Cairo, Upper and Lower Egypt and Northern Coasts will experience cold weather in the mornings and extremely cold weather at night.
Frost is forecast in Central Sinai, with snow on its highlands.
Heavy fog is set to be experienced starting Thursday to Tuesday on some roads to Greater Cairo, Upper and Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, Canal cities, Central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
Light to medium showers are also expected till next week, the EMA forecasts.
Cairo will experience highs of 15 to 16 degrees Celsius and lows of 7-8 degrees until Tuesday, while the northern coast will experience highs of 15 to 16 degrees and lows of 9 to 10.
South Sinai will see highs of 17 to 21 degrees and lows of 12 to 13.
Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 15 to 17 and lows of 3 to 5 degrees, while southern Upper Egypt will see a higher 18 to 22 degrees with temperatures falling to 5 to 8 degrees at night.
On Monday, the EMA said the cold weather was due to a cold air mass from Europe, resulting in a significant drop in temperatures.
