The Greater Cairo region and south Nile Delta may witness light rainfall at night.

Meanwhile, the north coast may witness high winds, while the Greater Cairo region, Nile Delta, South Sinai and southern parts of the country may witness dusty winds.

North Egypt and north Upper Egypt will witness cold weather while south Upper Egypt will be warmer.

Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are set to see highs of 17 degrees and lows of 8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

The north coast, however, is expected to see highs of 15 degrees and lows of 11, while South Sinai will experience highs of 23 and lows of 14.

The EMA added that starting 26 March the country will witness a gradual increase in temperature.
