The North Coast and the northern Nile Delta have a 40-50 percent chance of moderate rainfall on Thursday and Friday, accompanied by hail and thunder in some parts, according to the EMA.
Greater Cairo, the southern Nile Delta, and the Suez Canal cities have a 30 percent chance of light to moderate rainfalls.
Meanwhile, Upper Egypt will witness active dusty winds.
Several parts of Cairo witnessed light rainfall since early Thursday.
Schools are suspended for the second day in a row on Thursday in Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh, Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh due to the unstable weather conditions.
The EMA also warned that navigation will be disturbed in the Mediterranean Sea, but it will be stable in the Red Sea.
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are set to see highs of 17 degrees and lows of 9 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
The north coast, however, is expected to see highs of 16 degrees and lows of 10, while northern Upper Egypt is expected to see highs of 18 degrees and lows of 8.
Southern Upper Egypt is expected to see highs of 20 degrees and lows of 9.
Starting on Saturday, Egypt will see a gradual increase in temperature, the EMA added.
