The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), in a statement on Thursday night, recommended heavier clothes within these early/late hours.

Weather will be mildly windy in the most parts of the country, including Greater Cairo, on Friday, the statement added.

Other than that, no major changes to the weather are expected over next week, the EMA said.

From Friday through Wednesday, hot weather will prevail during the daytime in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt. It will be moderate on the North Coast, hot in South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, very hot in southern Upper Egypt, and cold in the north of the country.

Weather at night will be moderate in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

On Friday, Cairo will witness highs of 29 degrees Celsius and lows of 15 degrees. Alexandria will have highs of 24 degrees Celsius and lows of 14 degrees, while Matrouh will see highs of 23 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.
