Gov't ready to support private sector in establishing schools for middle-income citizens: PM

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said the government is keen on increasing the participation of the private sector in building schools for the children of middle-income families amid population growth in Egypt.



This aims to enable the children of this category of families to join schools and receive a quality education at reasonable costs, Madbouly stressed.

The premier made his remarks at a session held on the second day of the Economic Conference in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Ashour and Minister of Education and Technical Education Reda Hegazy and representatives of the private sector.

Madbouly discussed the challenges that the state faces to establish more schools and provide better education opportunities for citizens, stressing the government's commitment to free basic education.
