Warm weather in Sharm El-Sheikh during first week of COP27

The South Sinai city of Sharm El-Sheikh, which is hosting the 27th UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) for the next two weeks, is expected to see warm daytime weather from Sunday to Friday, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority.

However, temperatures will be slightly chilly at night during the six-day period.

South Sinai will see highs of 28-29 degrees Celsius and lows of 20-21.

Windy weather is expected from Thursday till Friday in South Sinai.

Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are expected to see highs of 25-26 degrees Celsius and lows of 18 degrees, while the northern coast will see highs of 24-26 and lows of 16-17.

Northern Upper Egypt will experience highs of 26-27 degrees and lows of 14-15, while southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 28-29 and lows of 16-17.
