Sharm El-Sheikh to see nice weather all week: EMA

The Red Sea city of Sharm El-Sheikh, which is hosting the COP27, will experience highs of 27-28 degrees and lows of 18-20 degrees throughout the coming week, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said.

In various parts of Egypt’s North Coast and northern Lower Egypt on Saturday and Sunday, a 40 percent chance of light to moderate rainfall is expected. 

South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt may see strong winds through Tuesday.

The EMA expects moderate weather in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and North Coast.

Warmer temperatures are expected in southern and northern Upper Egypt during the day.

Chilly temperatures at nighttime are expected nationwide.

From Sunday through Thursday, Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will experience highs of 24-25 degrees Celsius and lows of 16-18 degrees.

The North Coast will see highs of 23-24 degrees and lows of 17-18 degrees.  

Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 26-24 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.

Southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 30-27 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.
