Egypt's South Sinai to experience moderately hot weather through Tuesday

Egypt's South Sinai governorate, currently hosting the 27th UN Climate Change Conference in its Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, is set to experience moderately hot weather through Tuesday 22 November, Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said.

The EMA stated that starting Wednesday through Tuesday territories of South Sinai will see highs of 27-30 degrees Celsius and lows of 20-22 degrees Celsius.

Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are expected to experience mild weather, with highs of 24-26 degrees and lows of 16-17 degrees; whereas the North Coast will see highs of 23-26 degrees and lows of 15-18 degrees.

According to the EMA, morning fog is expected to shroud several roads Thursday through Friday. These are the roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast.

Morning fog is also expected to descend on roads leading to and from Suez Canal cities, North Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.

Light rain is expected to fall on Thursday on the northern regions of Lower Egypt and on the North Coast, according to the EMA.

North Upper Egypt will experience highs of 25-27 degrees and lows of 11-12 degrees.

As for South Upper Egypt, the EMA predicted that it will see highs of 28-30 degrees and lows of 15-17 degrees.
