The Holy Family Trail is a long-distance route tracing the locations thought to be visited by Jesus, Mary and Joseph 2,000 years ago during their flight into Egypt. 

The website will include all details about the trail in addition to various images, video presentations and detailed information about each point on the trail.

The website is available in Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian.

The launch coincides with celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of Pope Tawadros II on the throne of St. Mark the Apostle.

Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church held mass on Friday to celebrate with the participation of 115 members of the Holy Synod.

In June 2021, the Church’s official website in English was launched, targeting new generations and Coptic youths residing in English speaking countries.
