Meanwhile, moderate weather is forecast in northern Upper Egypt, and warm weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt over this week, the EMA added in its weekly bulletin.

Chilly weather is predicted nationwide during the night.

Morning fog is expected on the roads connecting Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, Suez Canal cities, Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.

Active winds are also predicated in some areas in South Sinai on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the EMA.

Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs of 22-24 degrees Celsius and lows of 14-16 degrees until Thursday.

The North Coast will experience highs of 22-23 degrees and lows of 14-16 degrees.

South Sinai will experience highs of 26-27 degrees and lows of 18-20 degrees, added the EMA.

Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 23-24 degrees and lows of 10-13 degrees, whereas southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 26-29 degrees and lows of 15-16 degrees.
