Cold weather is forecast during the morning and nighttime in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast and southern Upper Egypt. Temperatures will remain cool during the daytime.
South Sinai and Southern Upper Egypt will see moderate weather during the day while nighttimes will be cold, reported the EMA in its weekly weather forecast.
A 30-50 percent chance of light to moderate rainfall is expected intermittently in parts of the North Coast, northern Lower Egypt, the Suez Canal cities and Sinai on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Active winds are also expected in the North Coast and northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai during the same three days, according to the EMA.
Morning fogs are expected Tuesday through Thursday on roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, the Suez Canal cities and middle and North Sinai.
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs of 19-20 degrees Celsius and lows of 13 degrees from Saturday till Thursday.
The North Coast will see highs of 18-20 degrees and lows of 14-16 degrees.
Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 20-21 degrees and lows of 9-10 degrees, while southern Upper Egypt will witness highs of 22-24 degrees and lows of 12-13 degrees.
South Sinai will witness highs of 22-23 and lows of 15-16 degrees.
