In its weekly bulletin, the EMA predicted cold weather will prevail in most of the country during morning and night hours, with moderate weather during the day.
A 30-50 percent of light to moderate rainfall is expected in several parts countrywide including the North Coast, Lower Egypt, South and North Sinai and Greater Cairo on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The rainfall might turn heavy in some part nationwide such as along the Mediterranean coast, north Lower Egypt, North Sinai and the Suez Canal Cities, according to the EMA.
Active winds are forecast to blow though the northwest coast, South Sinai and Upper Egypt on Monday and Tuesday, and through Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the North Coast on Wednesday and Thursday.
Foggy mornings are also anticipated to come down the roads on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday, especially those leading to Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Northern Coast, Suez Canal cities, Sinai and Upper Egypt.
According to the EMA, Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs of 19-20 degrees Celsius and lows of 11-12 degrees starting Saturday through Thursday.
The North Coast will experience highs of 18-20 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.
South Sinai will experience highs of 22-23 degrees and lows of 13-15 degrees.
Northern Upper Egypt will have highs of 18-20 degrees and lows of 9-10 degrees.
Southern Upper Egypt will have highs of 21-23 degrees and lows of 11-12 degrees.
