On Sunday, the northwest coast and the northern Nile Delta are expected to witness moderate to heavy rains, with a chance of thunderstorms, while light rain is expected in Greater Cairo and Southern Upper Egypt.
On Monday, moderate-to-severe rainfall is expected sporadically on eastern regions of the North Coast as well as areas of the Suez Canal cities.
Additionally, there are chances of flooding in areas of north and central Sinai on the same day.
Elsewhere, intermittent light-to-moderate rain is expected on western regions of the North Coast as well as areas in Lower Egypt, South Sinai and Suez Canal coast. Greater Cairo and Northern Upper Egypt will see light rain.
On Tuesday, sporadic light rain is expected on western areas of the North Coast and areas at the Red Sea mountains.
On Wednesday, light-to-moderate rain is expected on western areas of the North Coast again as well as northern regions of Lower Egypt. Thursday through Saturday rainfall is expected on the North Coast and northern Lower Egypt.
Heavy winds
South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt will experience heavy winds on Monday at irregular intervals.
The North Coast will see heavy winds Tuesday through Saturday at intermittent times.
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will also experience heavy winds Wednesday through Friday.
Through Saturday, Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs of 18-19 degrees Celsius and lows of 11-12 degrees Celsius.
The North Coast will see highs of 17-19 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.
South Sinai will see highs of 21-22 degrees and lows of 14 degrees.
Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 18-20 degrees and lows of 8-9 degrees.
Meanwhile, Southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 20-23 degrees and lows of 10 degrees.
