Cold weather is expected on Wednesday night in the north while extremely cold weather is expected in the south.
However, moderate weather is expected in South Sinai.
Strong wind activity will continue along the Mediterranean coast, disturbing maritime navigation with a wave heightexpected to range from 2.5-3.5 metres.
Arish Port in North Sinai remains closed for the third consecutive day due to bad weather, according to official statements.
Rest of the week
Cold temperatures are expected in the early hours of the morning and during nighttime in Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta and the northern coast thru Monday.
Meanwhile, South Sinai will see warmer temperatues in daytime but extremely cold weather at night.
Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta will see highs of 17-18 degrees Celsius and lows of 9-10 degrees Celsius from Thursday through Monday.
The North Coast from Alexandia to Matrouh near the Libyan border will see highs of 16-17 degrees and lows of 10-11 degrees.
Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai will see highs of 21-22 degrees and lows of 13-14 degrees.
Luxor and Aswan in Upper Egypt will highs will see highs of 22-26 degrees and a low of 10 degrees.
Minya and Assiut will see highs of 18-20 degrees and lows of 5-7 degrees.
Morning fog is expected on Thursday and Friday on some roads leading from and to Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, the North Coast, Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, said the EMA.
Intermittent light rain is expected on the North Coast and heavy showers are expected on South Sinai at intermittent times, the EMA added.
Light to moderate rain is expected in the northern parts of the Nile Delta and the North Coast from Saturday to Monday.
