The country will also experience cold weather in the early hours of the morning, the EMA continued.

Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and northern Upper Egypt will experience moderately cold weather in the daytime.

South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt will experience mild weather during the day, they added.

The northwest coast and northern Lower Egypt is set to experience sporadic moderate rain on Tuesday with a lower chance of rain on areas of Marsa Matrouh, Alexandria, El Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh, announced the EMA.

On the same day, mild to moderate rain is expected to fall on the northeast coast and southern Lower Egypt, continued the EMA.

There will be a chance of intermittent mild rain Tuesday night in Greater Cairo and the Suez Canal cities, they added.

Wednesday will see sporadic rain across much of the country.

The rain will be moderate on the North Coast and northern Lower Egypt and mild on southern Lower Egypt, the Suez Canal cities, and central Sinai

The rain is expected to taper of on Thursday with only the North Coast and Lower Egypt experiencing infrequent mild to moderate rain.

South Sinai is set to experience strong winds through Sunday, while the country’s south will see strong winds on Tuesday and Wednesday and on the northwest coast Tuesday through Thursday.

Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt will have strong winds Friday through Sunday.

Temperatures

Greater Cairo will see highs of 17-19 degrees Celsius and lows of 8-10 degrees Celsius.

The North Coast is set to experience highs of 17-19 degrees and lows of 8-10 degrees.

South Sinai will see highs of 21-23 degrees and lows of 12-13 degrees.

Northern Upper Egypt will experience highs of 17-21 degrees and lows of 5-7 degrees while southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 21-25 degrees and lows of 10-11 degrees.
