The EMA has warned of strong winds exacerbating the cold, while also predicting medium-intensity rains and thunderstorms in some areas, mainly on the North Coast, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Drizzles are also expected in Greater Cairo, South Sinai and Canal cities.
Mornings will be moderately cold until Thursday, with mild daytime weather in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the North Coast.
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs of 21-24 degrees Celsius and lows of 13-14 degrees.
The North Coast, including Alexandria, will experience highs of 20-21 degrees and lows of 13-14 degrees.
Northern Upper Egypt, which includes Beni Suef, Fayoum and Minya, will see warm weather with highs of 22-25 degrees and lows of 12-15 degrees
Southern Upper Egypt, which includes Qena, Luxor, Aswan and Sohag, will experience hot weather during the day with highs of 26-31 and lows of and lows of 15-18 degrees.
South Sinai will be moderately hot with highs of 26-28 degrees and lows of 16-18 degrees.
The EMA reports maritime disturbance on the Mediterranean Sea with a wave height ranging 2.5 to 3 metres and a wind speed of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour.
Temperatures will rise gradually starting Friday.
