The launching of the cabinet’s English website carries on efforts to facilitate communication between the government and public sectors, and improve foreign community outreach, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly explained in the statement.

The website focuses on publishing news and events related to Egypt's international economic and investment activities, linking government actions to global business and financial communities, the cabinet’s official Spokesman Nader Saad noted in the statement.

This linkage could happen through facilitation of business procedures like applying for the "Golden License" system through the cabinet’s English website, Saad added.

The golden license is a unified license that allows investors to purchase or rent lands, operate and manage projects without the need to gain approval from multiple government bodies

The website is divided into several sections, including cabinet news, government meetings and a display of economic indicators.

The economic indicators section provides easy and quick access to Egypt’s growth rates, employment, inflation, public debt, deficit, and net international reserves at the central bank, in addition to the size of the gross domestic product.

Additionally, the website has a section dedicated to publications from the Information and Support Decision Centre which provides various reports on different sectors.
