Medical examination revealed that the pope suffers facial nerve inflammation, and doctors prescribed medication along with physical therapy sessions, the church spokesman added in a statement.
According to the statement, all pastoral meetings with the pope will be postponed; however, any one-on-one meetings scheduled before the pontiff’s sudden health problem will be held.
