Residents of Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, and the North Coast can expect mild temperatures during the early morning hours.

As the day progresses, however, the mercury will climb steadily, bringing sweltering heat and high humidity.

Relief will arrive with the setting sun, as the nights offer a more moderate climate.

South Sinai and Upper Egypt are bracing themselves for an onslaught of intense heat. Daytime temperatures will surge to unbearable levels, with scorching highs.  However, as evening falls, the mercury will ease off slightly.

Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta will reach highs of 34-35 degrees Celsius, while Northern Upper Egypt will see a high of 36-41 degrees Saturday through Thursday.

Temperatures during the daytime in southern Upper Egypt will reach 40-43 degrees in the same period.

The weather in South Sinai will be hot throughout the week, with highs of 38-40 degrees.
