Slight relief in Cairo's temperature as humidity persists

Residents of Cairo can look forward to a slight respite from the scorching heat as the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts a 2-3 degrees Celsius decrease in temperatures on Friday and throughout the upcoming week.

Despite this relief, citizens should stay hydrated and take necessary precautions as humidity remains high.

On Friday, Cairo and Nile Delta cities are expected to record temperatures ranging from 35 to 38 degrees Celsius.

The weekend will remain warm until Wednesday, with temperatures between 35-36 degrees Celsius.

For the past few weeks, Cairo has been sweltering under scorching hot days, with temperatures soaring between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius.

For those planning a beach escape, the North Coast will offer warm weather from Friday to Wednesday, with temperatures hovering around 31-32 degrees Celsius.

However, residents in South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt should brace themselves for scorching days ahead, with actual temperatures forecasted to soar to 42-43 degrees Celsius and feels-like temperatures to 42-44 degrees.

Meanwhile, southern Upper Egypt will record actual temperatures of 43-44 degrees Celsius and feels-like temperatures of  44-45 degrees Celsius.
