Mohamed Bin Zayed tours around Alamein
According to official sources who spoke with the Cairo24 news outlet, Mohammed bin Zayed is currently spending his summer vacation on Egypt's Mediterranean coast, which has been his summer holiday destination for the past three years.
During his stay, Al-Nahyan was spotted engaging warmly with Egyptian people, including children, without visible security, capturing spontaneous and simple photos.
His interactions and vibes sparked positive reactions on Twitter.
"Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is a humble statesman who is intimately connected with the people and holds a profound place in the hearts of millions," one user on X (formerly Twitter) exclaimed in response to a video featuring Al-Nahyan joyfully posing for pictures with children.
New Alamein City – an expansion of the original town of Alamein – has been designed to thrive as a year-round urban centre, not just a summer resort.
Promising to offer a diverse range of amenities, the city comprises universities, schools, hospitals, an opera house, cinema complex, museums, art and cultural venues, as well as hotels.
Spanning an expansive 48,000 acres, the city has garnered investments exceeding EGP 40 billion, and has been designated as a second administrative capital with Cabinet headquarters.
