Organized by the Social Responsibility Research Network (SRRNet), the four-day conference will feature papers and workshops on a variety of topics presented by academics and notable experts in the field from around the world.

The ICCSR is a global network of scholars who are interested in the social contract between all stakeholders in society and the socially responsible behaviour of organizations.

“The UN has just announced that we have entered the era of global boiling but there are other issues concerning the environment which also need dealing with; here we will discuss ideas, develop new ideas and collaborate internationally,” said Professor David Crowther, the president of SRRNet.

“[The conference provides] a platform for meeting and sharing ideas which does not really exist elsewhere,” said SRRNet Director and Conferences Chair Dr. Shahla Seifi.

The chair of the 22nd ICCSR is Raghda El-Ebrashi, who is an associate professor of strategic management at the GUC, the head of the Management and Organizations Department, and the editor-in-chief of the Social Responsibility Journal.

“The GUC is delighted to host the conference here in Cairo in 2024, and we expect a large turnout for this conference,” said Prof. El-Ebrashi adding that there was a growing interest in corporate environmental responsibility.
